I am an experienced ceilidh dance caller and a Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) qualified dance instructor. I can provide friendly fun calling to make your dance event go with a swing!  I also run weekly ceilidh classes for fun and fitness. I cater for all fitness and skill levels.
* I use my own recorded music and have my own speaker system.

About Me
My name is Peter Holmes and Scottish Country Dancing has been part of my life since my wife and I wanted a shared hobby together.  Since then I have been hooked and I want to share my passion with you.
I teach a weekly Scottish ceilidh class where dancers have the oppotunity to make new friends whilst enjoying fun and fitness at the same time.
I have also written a number of Scottish Country dances of which two have been published.
What is a Ceilidh?
A ceilidh is a traditional Scottish or Irish social gathering which may involve dancing, music, food and drink. The word "ceilidh" comes from the Scottish Gaelic word céilidh, which means "gathering" or "party".

Celebration Events

Let me handle your ceilidh event, from providing recorded music to dance instruction (calling) and everything in between. I will ensure a seamless and joyful experience.
